Retired after thirty years as an executive in the US, running successful companies with strong emphases on organization, detailed supervision, budgeting and people skills, Steve now brings these skills to Bahia Construction. A leader in industry and a leader in our community.

Steve, along with his wife Barbara, started the first Rotary Club in all of Mexico to be charted to include both male and female and Mexican and American members. Steve served as president for the first eighteen months of East Cape Rotary Club and continues active membership.

President of Santa Maria Homeowners Association. responsible for the overall care and maintenance of one of the most beautiful developments on the East Cape.

Doug Steere, Partner

Doug is a 25 year resident of Los Barriles. Doug, along with his wife Rosa, are the founders and owners of Bahia Real Estate.

Additionally, Doug has been building houses in Los Barriles and the surrounding area for over ten years and has a reputation for honesty and quality. Doug’s knowledge of the building community and relationships with vendors and suppliers is critical to the overall success of each project.

Doug was a founding member of the East Cape Rotary Club and sat on the board for two years.
